Despite being raised in England, Super Eagles and Everton star, Alex Iwobi, says he is proud and happy of his Nigerian heritage.

Born in Lagos, Iwobi moved to England at the age of four and represented the country at youth categories. But the former Arsenal player opted to represent Nigeria at the senior national level. October is Black History Month and Iwobi, in an interview with Everton media, spoke about the beauty of the Nigerian culture.

“Every time I go back to Nigeria, I get that homely feeling,” Iwobi said.
