Wamakko, Lawan, Yari, named chairmen as Akpabio unveils 79 committees

The Senate President, GodsWill Akpabio, on Monday, unveiled the chairmen of the 79 full-standing committees of the 10th Senate.

The Senate committees were formed after hours of closed-door sessions.

Some of the landlords of the National Assembly who were named committee chairmen include Housing and Urban Development, Aminu Tambuwal; Interior; Adams Oshiomhole, Defence; Ahmed Lawan; Water Resources, Abdulaziz Yari and Navy, Gbenga Daniels.

Others are: Constitutional Amendment, Jibrin Barau; Airforce, Senator Godiya Akwashiki; Aviation, Buhari Abdulfatai, Capital Market, Osita Izunaso; Establishment and public services, Senator Cyril Fasuyi; Ecological and Climate Change, Senator Seriake Dickson; Privatisation, Orji Kalu; and Public Account, Aliyu Wadada.

Works, Patrick Ndubueze; Appropriation, Solomon Adeola; FERMA, Oseni Babaginda, Finance: Sani Musa; Banking Insurance and other Financial Services; Tokunbo Abiru.
