The party’s chieftain urged leaders, ministers and stakeholders of the South-South region to back Tinubu’s aspiration for Niger Delta and Nigeria at large said, “I encourage them (Niger-Delta indigenes) to implement the Renewed Hope agenda of the Tinubu administration by working assiduously to ensure stability and development in the Niger Delta region and Nigeria in general. The progress and development in the Niger Delta will ensure the overall development of the entire Nigeria as the nation’s oil resources will be safe.”

He described the recent re-appointment of Ogbuku as a reward for his vision, dedication and fervent commitment to transforming the Niger Delta region.

He said, “The unique feature of the leadership of Dr. Ogbuku is his commitment to transparency, accountability and zero tolerance for corruption, being attributes that are greatly needed in the bid to repackage the Commission and restore the confidence of Nigerians on the ability of the Commission to carry out its core mandate.”
