Lazio goalkeeper Ivan Provedel scored a bullet header in stoppage time to earn a miraculous draw for Lazio in their Champions League group stage match against Atletico Madrid.
The 29-year-old Italian goalkeeper joined his team’s attack in the closing minutes in Rome, and when Luis Alberto sent over a ferocious cross, he sprang and buried a header beyond Jan Oblak to salvage a draw for the Serie A club.

Lazio had fallen behind in the first half of the Group E game when Pablo Barrios struck for Diego Simeone’s side but just when it looked as though the visitors would hold out for the win, Provedel emerged to equalise and spark wild scenes in the Italian capital.
Provedel has become the fourth goalkeeper to score in Champions League history, with his equaliser coming on a night when the other game in Group E ended in a 2-0 win for Feyenoord against Celtic.
